For installers
Proposed pricing. The figures on this page are proposed and not yet locked. They may change before the pilot ends, and nothing is charged during the pilot.
Membership pricing
One annual fee. A pooled entitlement in membership units. No joining fee and no charge for a single opportunity, ever.
During the pilot, installers pay nothing. Membership pricing will be published in writing before any fee applies, with at least 30 days notice, and you can leave at no cost.
How it works
Membership units, not a price per job
Your membership includes a number of membership units each year. A standard residential job uses one unit. A larger commercial job uses more, because it is a bigger opportunity. The units each job type uses are fixed for the whole of your membership term and cannot be changed on you part way through.
Before you claim any opportunity you are shown how many units it uses and how many units you have left. You decide. Nothing is charged either way.
A seat taken entirely residential delivers the full number of opportunities the units allow. Mix in commercial work and the same units deliver fewer opportunities, because each commercial claim uses more of them.

The membership ladder
Local
$1,200 ex GST / year
20 membership units a year
A sole trader or small crew working one patch.
Established
$2,280 ex GST / year
40 membership units a year
An established business that wants a steady flow across the year.
Volume
$4,320 ex GST / year
80 membership units a year
A multi-crew installer taking residential and commercial work.
Scale
$6,120 ex GST / year
120 membership units a year
A regional operator with the capacity to quote most weeks.
Figures above are the units and prices entirely residential work draws on. Taken entirely residential, a Local seat delivers 20 opportunities a year. Any commercial mix delivers fewer opportunities from the same units, because commercial opportunities use more of them. See the worked example below.
What each job type uses
No opportunity on the job board ever uses more than 8 units. Larger jobs are handled as a named introduction instead, see below.

Escalated opportunities
Some jobs are too large to sit inside a membership sensibly. These do not go on the board and use none of your units. If SaveTonnes introduces you and you win the job, the fee is 2 per cent of the contract value ex GST, with a floor of $5,000, payable after the win. Nothing is payable to be introduced and nothing is payable if you do not win it.
