For installers
SaveTonnes is a Home & Business Energy Upgrades Marketplace in South East Queensland. We are building neighbourhood programmes that bring households together in one postcode, so installers can plan, buy and crew for a cohort rather than a scattered run of single jobs.
We do not install, and we are not owned by anyone who does. Our job is to run the programme and allocate the work by the rules on this page.
Joining the waitlist is free.
Two ways to work with us
Pathway A. Take jobs in our programme postcodes.
When a programme runs in a postcode, households enquire through SaveTonnes and installers on our list quote on those jobs. Our first programme is SaveTonnes 4218. The waitlist is how we reach you when it opens for installers.
Pathway B. Bring a programme to your area.
As our programmes run and report, other neighbourhoods, councils and community groups may want their own. Installers who already work in those areas could be the delivery partners, on the same rules as everyone else. This is a future route. It is not a network that exists today, and we are not taking Pathway B applications. Tell us on the waitlist form where you work and we will come back to you if it opens.
What you never pay
You never pay to quote.
You never pay to win a job.
You never pay for a lead.
Joining the waitlist is free.
How jobs are allocated
Eligibility first. Installers provide a licence and accreditation number before they can take a job.
Rotation second. Among eligible installers, jobs are offered in turn. There is no paid placement. Nobody can buy a place at the front of the queue.
Rotation is a beta rule for SaveTonnes 4218.
How many installers see a job
Up to three installers quote on a residential job.
Up to two installers quote on a commercial job.
What you must hold
Before you can take a job you provide:
Your Queensland electrical contractor licence number.
Your SAA accreditation number for solar and battery work.
Your ARCtick licence number where refrigerant is handled, such as air conditioning and hot water heat pumps.
The same requirements apply to every installer. There is no exception.
No selling at community events
Each programme starts with education sessions in the community, then registration, then installation, then reporting. Nobody representing a programme sells at those events, and that includes installers on our list. The job comes to you through allocation, not through the room.
Who sees what
You never see another installer's quote, and no other installer sees yours. The household sees each quote on its own, from the installers allocated to the job.
Sponsors and partners receive aggregated reporting only. They never see a household's record.
Where to see pricing
Installer pricing is published on the pricing page. Nothing on this page restates it.
